Board Wargames
Back in 1972, my parents bought me SPI’s CA wargame from Tower Books. It took me a bit to figure it all out , but I have been hooked ever since. From there I moved on to SPI’s Panzer ’44, and soon was buying new games whenever I had the cash. At first I only bought SPI games, but picked up Panzerblitz, Panzer Leader, and the classic Squad Leader. After a few years, I became interested in Napoleonic games, particularly tactical games. Over the years my collection has waned as my time to play games has become short. Also, I started playing historical miniatures which further limited available gaming. Also the limit of space to set up games is an issue, but computer PBEM and on-line tools are a big help there. The sad thing is that I have more games than I can probably ever play at the moment.
Over time I will provide reviews and play aids for game I own.
