Welcome to Fantassin.org. I have had a website for many years, but I finally decided to update it into a blog to make it easier to maintain and modernize the content. I enjoy studying military history and playing both historical board games and miniatures games. There is discussion of the various games I have played and pictures of the miniatures I have painted. Hopefully, you enjoy the new site and find the content useful and interesting.

For miniatures based games, I am interested in the Napoleonic, Ancient, Renaissance, and the Seven Years War eras. For board games, I play all eras through WW2. I am hoping to start some American Civil War and Great War miniatures gaming. I will do reviews of board games I own and will post pictures of the miniatures in my armies.

I have not updated my blog in a while as I have been forced to work two jobs to make up for mandated furloughs. So, I have not done much painting lately. I did add Napoleonic unit to my gallery, 1st Wurtemberg Light cavalry brigade.
